I guess blogging my own life is not something I care to continue, considering that the only readers are myself and perhaps some rogue shifting thru volumes of captured internet traffic...?
I was happy to vote for Romney, even though I didn't think he would make it, I hoped so. I got roundly chastised by coworkers for that, and my explanation of my reasoning fell on deaf ears, so be it.
I recoiled at having to pay so much in taxes, and genuinely was mortified at the massacre in CT and the ensuing rush to :do something" to save the children, which focused on guns and not mental illness. My opinion is that guns can be used for recreational activities, like target shooting, but that too many people exercise their right to own one simply because they can. Not a good reason to me.
The scandals in our government don't shock me, because i read a lot of technical journals and see things like the secret data facility in Utah mentioned , see how much storage they are after and draw my own conclusions about the scope of it, usually years before the so called main stream media says a thing. Although the issue with the IRS seems definitely political to me.
Right now I am more focused on work and then going on vacation at the end of the month...aww, vacation!
The other night I was watching Magic City, and the main bad guy (Ben Diamond) was watching his wife masturbate..in her all black lingerie. The sick part is the first thing that popped into my head was "OMG, I have done that" ...the part about getting off while wearing lingerie, not having some perv watch me.
I think sometimes I am strange, like my brother has always said.

New Blog for 2012 onward!
Today I read that Multiply, where I had previously blogged from time to time, was definitely joining the ranks sites abandoning their customer base of blogger for the more lucrative arena of online marketplace. So be it, I came back here to Blogger, and after archiving all my prior 5 years of entries, decided to make a clean break of it, and state this one, with no catchy cute or frivolous naming, just me- Canice M.
Some rules I think I might try to follow include - avoiding discussions on politics, at least where the venture off into endless diatribes written mostly in the late evening without much thought. I definitely want to avoid not putting thought into it.
I will try to minimize the amount of personal info I discuss, as most people don't care or have an opinion on what I am doing. In my last blog I had followers who seemed to delight in accusation making, labelling me a rich person, and generally deriding my complaints about my life, my career, our society. I agree that complaining about things when you have more than someone else seems out of whack, and it is. Having been extremely financially challenged after getting married, it seemed we were destine to languish in poverty like the community we lived in. Those were hard times for us, and yet we moved on, achieved some of our goals, and are still struggling to reach others as we approach our senior years.
I will make serious effort to always consider the other side of issues before writing anything.
But make no mistake, I love my San Francisco Giants and Formula 1 racing. Oh and chocolate.....
